co-owner of Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell, Georgia, died December 29, 2011, at age 62. Norred was a member of the Georgia Funeral Directors Association (serving as president in 2001-02), NFDA and Selected Independent Funeral Homes. He also was owner of AAA Ambulance Service in Opelika, Alabama, and Troup County Ambulance Service in LaGrange, Georgia, and former director of Cherokee County EMS and 911.

He is survived by wife Joyce, daughters Tracy and Jennifer, mother Carrie and four grandchildren.
